The Rod of Asclepius is an ancient symbol designed to tell you who you are.
It is comprised of the snake and fire rod. The snake has long been used to represent water because of its obvious watery shape. The fire rod, likewise, was an easy to recognize image for light. In short, the Rod of Asclepius is the symbol for light traveling through water.
